Moskaitis said the family plans to donate the full cash portion to the Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Department of Gastroenterology, which has been a valuable resource to them personally and to other community members.
Moskaitis thanked her community for voting in the contest, writing, "We want to thank everyone in our own community as well as many neighboring communities that have voted for us and who have come by to share in our Christmas joy and have spread the spirit of Christmas right along with us."
She also shared a message of hope and cheer amid the difficulty of a pandemic holiday.
"Our holiday has been joy filled as we have all remained healthy and even though some of us had to gather from a distance due to Covid restrictions our hearts are never apart at any time of year especially at Christmas," Moskaitis wrote.
