Newtown Firefighters Put Out Basement Fire On A Rainy Sunday
Firefighters from the Newtown Fire Department were called to the 500 block of E. Center Ave. in Newtown Borough for a basement fire Sunday.
NEWTOWN, PA — Firefighters from the Newtown Fire Department were called to the 500 block of E. Center Ave. in Newtown Borough for a basement fire during a rainy afternoon Sunday.
Crews arrived shortly after the 1:30 p.m. call and the fire was placed under control in about 10 minutes with help from multiple fire departments, including the Yardley-Makefield Fire Company, Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company, Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, according to Newtown Fire and Emergency Services.
Newtown Ambulance Squad also responded to the scene.
