Newtown Halloween Parade Is Today: Details, Road Closures, More

The annual Newtown Halloween parade is Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Here's everything you need to know:

NEWTOWN, PA — The annual Newtown Halloween parade is Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

The parade will begin at Stocking Works and proceed down South State Street onto Greene Street. It will conclude at Officer Brian Gregg Memorial Park.

In-person registration for the costume contest will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Stocking Works on South State Street. Judging will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m., followed by the start of the parade.

Borough police said motorists should expect delays with the road closures. There will also be parking restrictions.

Starting at 8 a.m., there will be no parking on South State Street from Centre Avenue to Washington Avenue. Additional information on road closures can be found here.

Weather conditions are expected to be perfect. Skies should be sunny, with temperatures in the upper 60s at the parade step-off time.
