Newtown Hardware House To Celebrate 150th Birthday Next Month

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Hardware House will celebrate 150 years in business during an celebratory event next month.

The beloved State Street business will hold the celebration on Oct. 5, which is also Newtown Market Day.

There will be a lemonade stand, root beer floats, popcorn "and some surprises," the Hardware House said in an event announcement. The celebration goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Once you're done celebrating the hardware store, head over to Market Day, where there will be live music, crafters, food, and more.
