Newtown Home Could Win 'Light Up PST Nation' Holiday Prize
The Matthews Lane house that residents have been decorating for 12 years is up for a $1,000 prize on our local #1 hit music station.
NEWTOWN, PA — A Newtown home decked out in holiday lights has made it to the finals of a local radio show's decorating competition.
In the final phase of "Light Up PST Nation," the competition by the #1 hit music station PST 94.5, 10 homes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are vying for a Christmas win. The radio station shared photos of all the homes up for the prize online.
Hillary Moskaitis' house at 301 Matthews Lane in Newtown is among the contenders.

"We truly find joy in decorating our home not only for our family but for the community around us," she recently told Patch for a story on the home's decor. "Nothing better [than] seeing the little ones faces light up when they drive in."
Two other Bucks County homes made it to the competition's finals: one in Levittown and one in Warminster.

Residents could submit a photograph of their house or business online to enter the competition. Whomever receives the most votes for their home's holiday spirit will take home a prize of a $500 Visa gift card and a $500 shopping spree at local business Michael's Jewelers.
"To think this started off as something small for the children and it is now a top finalist for PST Light Up The Nation Prize it is truly humbling," Moskaitis wrote.
She urged residents to stop by the house and see the lights.
