Newtown Irish Festival 2025: Dates, Schedule, More
The festival gets underway March 6 and goes through March 17. The event kicks off with a performance by Seamus McGrory and Brian McGuire.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Irish Festival returns to the Green Parrot for its 16th year in March with 12 days of Irish music, dancing, food and fun.
The festival begins on Thursday, March 6 and continues through Monday, March 17 at the Green Parrot Restaurant and Pub at 240 North Sycamore Street. A cover charge of $10 applies March 7 to 9 and March 13 to 17 for the band performances. There is no cover on March 6, 10, 11, and 12.
Special Irish fare will include the Parrot’s signature Corned Beef Egg Rolls, Irish Corned Beef Cheesesteaks, Shepherds Pie, Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Guinness Stew, Irish Nachos, Loaded Irish Fries, Irish Chowder, Corned Beef & Cabbage and lots more.

This year’s live entertainment lineup includes: Seamus McGrory and Brian McGuire, Fun Za Luv, Go Go Gadjet, Jamison, The Juliano Brothers Band, LJ Hall-Music, Rustic Revival, Fat Mezz, Anthony Baker Entertainment, Cj Mills, Porch The Band, Shot of Southern, Shaun Durnin, Galway Guild, Buzzer Band, Birmingham Six, and Myers Designs LLC.
In addition, the festival will feature Irish Step Dancing performances by Celtic Flame, Coyle, Fitzpatrick, Shades of Green, Crossroads, and Timoney.

As a prelude to the festival, the Parrot will be hosting a Jameson Irish Whiskey Dinner Pairing on Monday, March 4 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Call 215-504-7277 for reservations.

Reservation Details
Table reservations are highly recommended and will be accepted beginning on Friday, Feb. 21 at noon. There is a $25 surcharge for a table reservation of up to four guests for 90 minutes.
Additional charges apply between March 6 to 9 and 12 to 17 for time at the table and additional people. Reservations may be made by calling 215-504-7277.
Reservations are not mandatory, but they are convenient and help to ensure a table.
“We are expecting large crowds throughout the festival,” said the folks at the Parrot. “To guarantee seating for lunch or dinner we highly suggest a reservation. Reservations allow you to skip any line or waitlist. Reservations are for dining room seating only.”
