Newtown Police Investigating Thefts From Storage Sheds

The Newtown Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving a recent burglary.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving a recent burglary.

A resident in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue contacted police Saturday morning after they discovered several items were missing from their storage shed.

Taken were two chainsaws, a Mo-Ped, a motocross-type motorcycle and assorted hand tools. The Mo-Ped was later recovered in a wooded area near the home, according to Newtown Police Chief James Sabath.
