PA Winter Storm Update: Round 2 Of Snow Before Change To Rain
Another round of snow is expected across the Philadelphia region Saturday afternoon before a changeover to sleet and rain this evening.

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Another round of snow is moving across the Philadelphia region Saturday afternoon before a changeover to sleet and rain this evening.
The system, which dropped about an inch on the area Saturday morning and early afternoon, will turn to rain by late evening before moving out of the area, forecasters say.
As of about 1 p.m., parts of the Philadelphia region have reported about an inch of snow, with more possible throughout the afternoon. Another lull in precipitation is possible before the next band comes through, most likely as rain and sleet, according to AccuWeather.

The National Weather Service's winter weather advisory is in place through 10 p.m. Saturday.
So far, the highest snowfall totals reported in the Philadelphia region are in Chester County, where East Nantmeal Township has recorded 1.5 inches of snow. Current snow totals can be found here.

Local police departments are cautioning residents to stay home if possible, as even the small amount of snow has caused accidents on area roadways.
In Bucks County, Upper Makefield Police said the storm is wreaking havoc on local roadways, and officers are dealing with multiple incidents.
In Montgomery County, multiple crashes and disabled vehicles have been reported, including in Lower Providence, Pottstown, Lower Merion and beyond.
Expect the system to move fully out overnight. On Sunday, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s.
