Paris Baguette Opens First Bakery Cafe Location In Bucks Co.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A new bakery and cafe has opened its doors in Bucks County at Prickett Preserve in Lower Makefield. Inside the cafe located next to Chase Bank, self-service shelves are filled with an assortment of mouthwatering baked goods, from sweet and savory croissants to fruit pastry and slices of cake.
While Paris Baguette was opening its doors, in nearby Newtown a gourmet-to-go seafood shop was closing its doors at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. The owners of the local Bobby Chez spent Halloween saying goodbye to its faithful customers and serving its final meal.

Prickett Preserve has added yet another new eatery. Paris Baguette has opened in the shopping center anchored by the Wegmans supermarket and across the street from Shady Brook Farm. It's the first location in Bucks County for Paris Baguette, which offers fresh-baked goods, artisan coffee beverages, and brewed treats in a warm and welcoming environment.

Christmas Shoppes Return To Gasper Stores
Gasper’s Home & Garden Center in Richboro and Exterior Furnishings Studio in Furlong will kick
off the holiday season an Open House on Sunday, Nov. 2 featuring its 2025 Christmas Shoppes. Both
locations will showcase new trees, ornaments and holiday accessories, offering customers a Gasper storybook Christmas experience. The all-day Christmas Shoppes Open House features refreshments, special discounts, magical Christmas displays, and raffles with a chance to win special holiday gift baskets and planters, $100 gift certificates, three-piece pottery set, and a Grand Prize $500 Gasper Gift Certificate, according to the folks at Gasper.

Gourmet To Go Seafood Store Closes Its Doors
A gourmet to-go seafood store closed its doors on Friday at the Village at Newtown shopping center off of Eagle Road. “After serving our wonderful community for the past few years, we are very sad to announce that Bobby Chez Gourmet To Go will be closing its doors,” earlier in the week. “It’s with a very heavy heart that we announce this, but we wanted to thank all of all loyal customers for your continued support,” wrote owners Keith and Andrea Schultz of Newtown Township.

Real Estate Investor Plans To Bring Landmark 'Back To Life'
A Bucks County real estate investor and builder from Buckingham says he has plans to bring the historic General Greene Inn "back to life." Bob Welch has announced that he has signed agreements to buy the historic structure at the busy intersection of Durham and Old York roads in the heart of the Buckingham Township. Welch, who has restored Keystone properties in Doylestown, New Hope, and in Buckingham, said he’s looking forward to renovating the structure and bringing it back to life.
