Parkwood TRC’s Country Carnival: Fun and Fundraising for a Cause

Parkwood Therapeutic Riding Center (Parkwood TRC) is inviting the community to come together for a day of fun, connection, and giving back at its Country Carnival fundraiser. The event takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Parkwood TRC, 543 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA, and supports Parkwood, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic riding programs for individuals of all abilities. Funding is essential to keep riding accessible and affordable for all families, and this year, Parkwood TRC is bringing the community together with a country-themed carnival.

The carnival will feature a variety of family-friendly activities designed to engage everyone. Guests can enjoy classic carnival games like ring toss, sack races, and horseshoe toss, or compete in a pie-eating contest. Attendees can also explore the petting zoo, take a spin on pony rides, or capture memories at the western-themed photo booth and face painting stations.

All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle baskets, and activities go directly to enhancing Parkwood’s programs, funding therapeutic experiences that improve lives through riding and equine-assisted activities.

“Events like the Country Carnival allow us to strengthen community connections while raising critical funds for our programs,” said Sarah Del Ricci, Founder and Executive Director. “Every dollar raised supports individuals who benefit from our therapeutic riding services, many of whom face physical, emotional, or developmental challenges.”

Tickets are available online or at the door. Please note: Parkwood TRC is open to the public by appointment only, and drop-in visits outside of scheduled lessons or appointments are not permitted.
