Pennsylvania Coronavirus Data: 929 New Cases, 20 Deaths Tuesday
216 cases reported Tuesday were a result of a delay in private lab result reporting, state health officials said
HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Tuesday reported 929 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 96,671.
However, 216 cases reported Tuesday were a result of a delay in private lab result reporting, state health officials said. Of those tests, "the vast majority did not occur within the past 24 hours," the state health department said.
Allegheny County, which continues to experience an uptick in the virus, reported 331 cases Tuesday. State health officials said 186 of those cases were due to the reporting delay.
