NEWTOWN, PA — Pickering Manor has announced changes to its nursing leadership team aimed at furthering its commitment to providing exceptional care and leadership within the community.

Terry Ziegler has been promoted to assistant nursing home administrator after 16 years of dedicated service at Pickering Manor and more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Terry's career began over four decades ago as a CNA, progressing through key roles such as a Registered Nurse, director of nursing and director of clinical support services. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of our facility uniquely qualify her for this new position.

As assistant administrator, Terry will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, primarily focusing on maintaining the highest standards of care for our residents. Terry will work closely with David Woodhead to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Additionally, Pickering Manor welcomes Gloria Wright as its new director of nursing. Gloria brings more than 40 years of nursing experience, specializing in geriatrics, long-term care, hospice, management, and regional nurse consulting for long-term care and assisted living communities.

Her appointment underscores Pickering Manor's commitment to providing the highest quality of care for its residents, said Woodhead.

Gloria's forward-thinking approach to nursing care and her dedication to fostering a compassionate and supportive environment is expected to greatly benefit residents and staff alike.
