Police Looking To ID Beauty Store Theft Suspect In Newtown

Detectives are looking for the public's help to identify suspect in the theft of merchandise from a township beauty store.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Newtown Township are asking the public's help to identify a woman suspected of retail theft at the Uta Beauty Store at the Village of Newtown Shopping Center.

The incident happened on April 13 at 5:45 p.m. when a woman entered the store at 2114 South Eagle Road and walked out with $2,016 worth of merchandise. The woman concealed the merchandise in her hoodie before leaving the store, police said.

There is no known vehicle information.

Detectives are currently investigating the crime, but they are looking for the public's help to identify the suspected retail thief.
