The panel offers first-time offenders a second chance to avoid a criminal record and helps to make the offender understand the seriousness of his/her actions, as well as the effect their crimes have on their victims and the community.

On Nov. 13, the Bucks County Youth Aid Panel recognized Lupinetti for his selfless dedication and attention to detail and for keeping the joint Newtown Township, Upper Makefield, and Newtown Borough program successful.

He was also a member of the department’s Awards Board Committee, the South Central Emergency Response Team, the Honor Guard, the Bike Patrol, and oversaw the department’s social media platforms and outreach.

He received two Commendations of Merit, a Commendation for Life Saving, and countless letters of appreciation and recognition from members of the community, the PA House of Representatives, Bucks County Community College, and from neighboring police departments.
