Portion Of Sycamore Street To Close For Newtown Welcome Day
Newtown Township Police Department issues traffic advisory for Sunday; portion of Sycamore Street will be closed for the street fair.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police have announced two road closures for Sunday, June 8 in connection with Newtown Welcome Day.
From 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., North Sycamore Street between Durham Road and Jefferson Street will be closed to vehicle traffic to provide time for setup and cleanup at the event. Silo Drive at North Sycamore Street will also be closed.
Welcome Day, sponsored by Capital Health and presented by the Newtown Business Association, takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sycamore Street between Jefferson Street and Durham Road. The event is free and open to the public.
