NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Planning Commission will review a Philadelphia-based developer's application to build a Wawa store at its Tuesday meeting.
Villanova-based Provco Pineville Acquisitions is looking to build a combination Wawa gas station and convenience store on the Newtown Bypass at Silver Lake Road. The planning commission is expected to discuss Provco's request for a special exception and variance from the zoning hearing board to move ahead with the project.

- The Bucks County Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. at the Bucks County Administration Building, 55 E. Court St., Doylestown. On the agenda is approval of a $25,995 contract with facial recognition technology company Clearview AI to provide assistive technology for law enforcement. Click here for the agenda. Thursday
- The Council Rock School District Board of School Directors will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. at The Chancellor Center, 30 N. Chancellor St., Newtown.
