School Board To Vote On Renovations: This Week In Newtown

The Council Rock School Board appears poised to approve a three-year renovation project at Sol Feinstone Elementary School.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School Board will hold a special meeting Monday to vote on whether or not to approve a three-year renovation project at the aging Sol Feinstone Elementary School building.

A virtual meeting of the school board and education committee will be held at 7 p.m. Click here for the Zoom link. Public comments including the sender's full name and municipality submitted to publiccomment@crsd.org will be read aloud at the meeting.

The scheduled vote comes after board members held a lengthy discussion on the issue at its Thursday meeting.

Supervisors will discuss an alternate sketch plan for the McKee Development, which proposes 12 single family homes, 18 townhomes, and 12 twin homes on Route 413 at Creek and Lower Mountain Roads.
