State Street Hair Salon Closes After 40 Years: Report

NEWTOWN, PA — Head Quarters Personal Hair Design on State Street has closed after 40 years, as the owner has retired and is moving out of the state, the Newtown Advance reported. The salon, owned by Joy Taggart, closed on Dec. 31, the publication reported.

Head Quarters was located in a 150-year-old stone cottage on State Street. It offered services for both woman and men.
