Summer Road Paving Project To Close Sections Of Route 32 In Bucks Co.

Weather permitting, motorists will face travel restrictions weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through late July, along Route 32.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Road work, including pavement repair and resurfacing operations, will close sections of Route 32 (River Road) in New Hope and Yardley Boroughs and Plumstead, Solebury, Upper Makefield, and Lower Makefield townships beginning Monday, June 23.

Weather permitting, motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through late July, at one more of the following locations:

Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

The work is part of PennDOT’s $5 million project to perform selective base repairs and micro-surfacing overlay and install line/legend painting on sections of Route 32 (River Road/Delaware Avenue), U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike), and Knights Road in Bucks County.
