Summer Road Paving Project To Close Sections Of Route 32 In Bucks Co.
Weather permitting, motorists will face travel restrictions weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through late July, along Route 32.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Road work, including pavement repair and resurfacing operations, will close sections of Route 32 (River Road) in New Hope and Yardley Boroughs and Plumstead, Solebury, Upper Makefield, and Lower Makefield townships beginning Monday, June 23.
Weather permitting, motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through late July, at one more of the following locations:
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road in Solebury Township. Motorists will be directed to use Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road.
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Lurgan Road and Stoneybrook Road. Motorists will be directed to use Lurgan Road, Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), Pineville Road, and Stoneybrook Road in Upper Makefield.
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Taylorsville Road and Route 532 (General Washington Memorial Boulevard) in Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield. Motorists will be directed to use Taylorsville Road.
- Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Lurgan Road and Aquetong Road in Solebury Township. Motorists will be directed to use Lurgan Road, Street Road, Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), and Aquetong Road in Solebury and Upper Makefield.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

The work is part of PennDOT’s $5 million project to perform selective base repairs and micro-surfacing overlay and install line/legend painting on sections of Route 32 (River Road/Delaware Avenue), U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike), and Knights Road in Bucks County.
