UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — The Washington Crossing Toll-Supported Bridge is scheduled to be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic controlled by flaggers from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11.

The travel restriction will allow a contractor to perform work related to the recent erection of a sign gantry oversized vehicle “headache bar” at the bridge’s Pennsylvania approach.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds, exercise caution and follow flagger instructions. The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
