Friday, Jan. 28

8:45 a.m. — Police stopped the driver of a black Nissan Rogue for a vehicle code violation on the Newtown Bypass near South State Street. Police discovered a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, seizing it and citing the driver.
Saturday, Jan. 29

10:30 p.m. — Police were sent to a Newtown home for a reported dispute. After investigating, they charged two people with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
Sunday, Jan. 30
11 p.m. — Police were sent to a Wrightstown home for a reported dispute. One person was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment. The person was arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000.
Monday, Feb. 1
10:45 p.m. — While on routine patrol in the Carousel Village area, an officer saw a "suspicious" car parked in the parking lot. He found two young people in the car and a small amount of suspected marijuana. The suspected drugs were seized as evidence and the young people were referred to the Youth Aid Panel.
Wednesday, Feb. 3
8:45 a.m. — A Newtown resident reported fraud involving white-washed checks. An investigation is ongoing.
