• Dixie Lee Zeigler 1938-2025 (fcfreepresspa.com) — Newville is mourning the passing of longtime resident Dixie Lee Zeigler, who died December 16 at Green Ridge Village in town. A Newville High School graduate and Big Spring School District aide, she was active at Newville Church of the Brethren and local charities; a memorial service there is set for Friday, December 26, at 11 a.m.
