Accident at Whitehall and West Main

Traffic is crawling around a serious accident at West Main Street and Whitehall Road in West Norriton.

Police and EMS were called to the scene just before 3:30pm for a report of an accident blocking traffic at that intersection. On the scene, officers found a Ford Windstar and a Toyota Prius had collided and the Windstar had struck the traffic light.

The airbags in both vehicles had deployed and at least three victims were transported from the scene to area hospitals by Plymouth Ambulance.
