A two-vehicle accident sent one woman to the hospital Monday night, after her Ford Explorer was forced into a telephone pole near the 7-Eleven on Sandy Hill Road.
The crash occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m., near the intersection of Sandy Hill Road and Fairfield Road, according to Montco DPS. A witness on the scene stated that the crash involved a light-colored Hyundai Sonata driven by a male in his late 20's, and a dark, extended-cab Ford Explorer with a female driver.
Pictures submitted to Patch show the Ford with heavy front-end damage, still in contact with the pole.

The female driver was transferred from the scene by ambulance, but the male driver sustained no injuries, per the witness.
