Norristown Arts Council Electing New Board of Directors

According to , the Norristown Arts Council is scheduled to hold its annual meeting at 7:30 p.m., on Jan. 26, 2012 at , and will be electing members to its board of directors.

Anyone interested in being elected to the board should be prepared to give a 1 to 2 minute statement introducing themselves and their credentials to those in attendance.

Interested candidates should be local residents, members of the business community, government or arts and cultural organizations in the Norristown Arts Hill district. There are several committee positions to be filled in marketing, logistics, fundraising, volunteer, special events and communications.

If you would like to join the board, send your resume, bio and a brief statement of intended candidacy to Norristown Arts Council, 208 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA, 19401. Letters must be received by Jan. 12, 2012 to be included on the ballot.
