Norristown Municipal Council Meets Tonight

Norristown Municipal Council meets again tonight, Nov. 15, at 7:30pm in to discuss several pieces of business including a public hearing on a conditional use review for 545 Swede St., the introduction of a sign/billboard ordinance for the Light Industrial District as well as a discussion about parking around the Norristown Post Office and neighborhoods around the Montgomery County Courthouse

Council has also advertised the following public hearing:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council Members of the Municipality of Norristown will conduct a Public Hearing on the following appeals: (11-3) Conditional Use Review – Walter Wyckoff, 335 West Marshall St., Norristown, Pa. 19401, for a property located at 545 Swede Street. Property Owner: Walter & Stacy Wyckoff Walter.

Wyckoff is seeking conditional use approval from Municipal Council, in accordance with Section 320-43A(14)M, use regulations, to allow to occupy a retail/office space in the TC-Town Center Zoning District.

The applicant as well as all persons interested and/or wishing to be heard in this matter must be present for the Municipal Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., in Council Chambers, Municipal Hall, 235 East Airy Street, Norristown, Pa.
