Notice of Public Hearing for Conditional Use Review of 232 West Main Street

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council Members of the Municipality of Norristown will conduct a Public Hearing on the following appeals: 

(12-1) Conditional Use Review – Gene O’Hara, P.O. Box 856, Norristown, Pa. 19401

For a Property located at: 232 West Main Street

Property Owner: Gene O’Hara 

Mr. Gene O’Hara is seeking conditional use approval from Norristown Municipal Council, in accordance with Section 320-43A(14) use regulations, and per section 320- 111B(3), Restoration or reconstruction of nonconforming uses, to have a two bedroom apartment on the second and third floor, for a total of 3 units and a store, in the TC-Town Center Zoning District. Previous use of the apartment was condemned.

The applicant as well as all persons interested and/or wishing to be heard in this matter must be present for the Norristown Planning Commission meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 7 p.m., in the Conference Room, and the Municipal Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., in Council Chambers, , 235 East Airy Street, Norristown, Pa.  Persons with a disability who wish to attend the above referenced administrative hearing, and require an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to participate in the hearing, please call 610-270-0420.
