'Bold New Public Space': New Park Coming To King Of Prussia
The park will feature covered outdoor workstations, swings made from recycled wind turbines, a Zen garden, and more.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Authorities broke ground on a new sustainability-themed park in King of Prussia this week that they're calling a "bold new public space."
Recharge Park will be located on 680 Freedom Business Center Drive between Topgolf and Valley Forge Casino.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to creating vibrant and connected public spaces, Recharge Park will become an important stop along the future Gulph Road Connector Trail, which is currently in the planning and design phases,” Eric Goldstein, president and CEO of King of Prussia District, said in a statement. “Together with Upper Merion Township and Montgomery County, we’re working hard to expand King of Prussia’s trail and park network, improving connectivity and access to green space throughout the community.”

Officials hope the new park will open by summer 2026.
The park's "recharging" theme is a tribute to the substation that previously existed on the site.

Some features will include solar-powered lighting, covered outdoor workstations, swings made out of recycled wind turbines, a rock lounge with boulders, a Zen garden, an open lawn for yoga and movies, a space for food trucks, and natural landscapes including native grasses and perennials.
The park is funded by a Montco 2040 Implementation Grant, as well as King of Prussia District’s capital improvement funds, authorities said.
