Centre Theater Installs New Vertical Blade Sign

A crew from Bartush Signs spent the day raising the new 23-foot, illuminated vertical blade sign at at 208 DeKalb Street on Thursday. The sign is a compliment to the .

According to a release from the Centre Theater, this new sign installation is the finale stage in the phase one renovations for Norristown's anchor theater. The sign emulates the original gas and electric sign that hung from the front of the building in the first half of the 20th century.

The building is home to the Centre Theater's resident company, Walla Fest, the Norristown Arts Hill and Iron Age Theatre. The Centre Theatre will host an open house on Sept. 27 to present all of the upgrades that are part of phase one of the renovation.
