Construction on Elmwood Park Zoo's New Parking Lot Underway
The new lot is expected to be ready by the end of summer.

According to The Times Herald, construction on 's new, expanded parking lot is under way and should be completed by the end of summer.
East Norriton-based Scott Builders is the contractor on the $620,000 project which, according to Elmwood Park Zoo Executive Director and CEO Al Zone, is being paid for with county and state grants.
Once completed, the lot will reportedly have room for 308 cars and 8 buses – a big improvement from the zoo's current parking options.

"It will be a big plus for our night events,” Zone told the Herald. "Moms on Harding Boulevard with strollers are not a good combination."
