Council Seeking Volunteers for Property Maintenance Appeals Board

According to a release from the municipality, Norristown Municipal Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the Property Maintenance Appeals Board. The board will hear appeals from property owners in Norristown who feel they were issued a citation for high grass, chipped and peeling paint and other routine property maintenance issues in error.

Property maintenance related complaints should be reported to the Code Enforcement Department at 610-270-0441. Be prepared to provide as much detail as possible including the address where the violation exists, the condition prompting your call, times of day and the names of any individuals involved along with anything else you feel is relevant.
