1. As part of its annual “Gear for Grades” initiative, Citizens Bank is donating 400 backpacks filled with school supplies to today at 12:30 p.m. ACLAMO will be distributing the backpacks to students in need. Give them a call at 610-277-2570 for more information.

4. The Life Unchained social club is having a tonight at their Norristown headquarters at 1847 Markley St. If you've been looking to meet some great people locally, look no further.

5. The Pagus Gallery in the Norristown Arts Building at 619 W. Washington St. is hosting two new exhibits starting today, one by artist Dustin Metz called The Vernal Mystics and a group show called Memory. Stop by between noon and 5 p.m. to take in some culture.
