3. The Roosevelt Stadium Celebration Committee is meeting again tonight at 6 p.m. at to plan the stadium's final farewell Sept. 30. There are plenty of opportunities to support the effort as sponsor or a donor. All contributions made by Oct. 31 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000 by a generous local donor. 5. Election season is in full swing and one of the more hotly contested races is the Montgomery County Commissioners' contest. The GOP Castor-Brown campaign and they'll be raising money tonight at a $200-a-person fundraiser at the law firm of Cozen O'Conner in West Conshohocken from 5:30 to 7 p.m. On a related note, the Democratic team of commissioner candidates, Shapiro-Richards, will be laying out their fiscal plans for the county today at the courthouse.
