By now, everyone is aware of the impending extreme weather expected for our area thanks to . Gov. Tom Corbett declared a state of emergency for Pennsylvania and local and national news outlets have been covering the impending onslaught of rain and wind.

While I'm actually on an ill-timed vacation in coastal Delaware, my fellow Patchers will be keeping everyone updated on the latest Irene-related news with our . Folks from all over Montgomery County are invited to log on and join the conversation to keep us updated about what's happening in their neighborhood and I'll be posting updates about conditions here in Delaware (overcast with a little rain and a bit windy as of 1 p.m.).
