Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley Appear On Jimmy Fallon As Philly Fever Spreads Nationwide
The Birds stars, joined by their entire offensive line, shotgunned beers with Jimmy Fallon on national TV.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Days after their dominant Super Bowl championship, MVP Jalen Hurts and superstar running back Saquon Barkley appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in a short segment that covered everything from Hurts's phone background, Barkley's young daughter's motivational message, and what the championship meant to each.
But the highlight came when the two men — the classiest and most humble superstars the NFL has seen in a generation — were joined by their supporting cast to celebrate Philly style.
All five of the Birds offensive linemen, Lane Johnson, Mekhi Becton, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, and Cam Jurgens were revealed crouched behind a flourished curtain, wearing Jason Kelce-style overalls.

The group then shotgunned beers together with Fallon. It was unclear who won (possibly Barkley), though Hurts opted instead to spray down his teammates with his can.

For years now, the Kansas City Chiefs have dominated the nation's football attention span, a bandwith often contained to a tight end's relationship with a singer and few close wins. But a completely different Birds team has dethroned the would-be dynasty — a team of humble men who, by every appearance, love each other like brothers, and the world is catching Philly fever.
Both Hurts and Barkley were offered opportunities to respond or take shots at the teams, analysts, fans, and front offices who perhaps doubted them. Both, with trademark and characteristic humility, declined to do so.

Hurts said he was keeping his phone background the same. It currently features an image of him walking off the field after the loss in Super Bowl 57. He says it's motivational.
"I'm not gonna change it," Hurts said.
When asked what he was thinking when he first grabbed the Lombardi trophy, he said he saw himself reflected in it and thought only of all the hard work that had brought him and his squad to that point.
Barkley laughed off the clip of Giants executives talking last winter about how much it would hurt to lose their star to the Eagles, should he sign there. The clip has become infamous and spread wide around the Internet in the wake of his historic season and the Super Bowl win. Barkley expressed love and gratitude for the Giants organization.
"I just want to be remembered as an Eagle," Barkley said.
