New Jersey Man Crashes Into Police Chief's Car
Thirty five-year-old Michael Palazza was reportedly visibly intoxicated when he rammed into West Norriton Police Chief Robert Adams' unmarked patrol car on Wednesday.

According to The Times Herald, Michael Palazza, 35, of Toms River, N.J., was spotted in East Norriton allegedly driving his Chevy Suburban recklessly on Germantown Pike on Wednsday, July 25. A witness followed Palazza to West Norriton and contacted West Norriton Police with his location.
West Norriton Police Chief Robert Adams, driving an unmarked police vehicle, spotted the Suburban on Burnside Avenue allegedly crossing over into the oncoming traffic lane and hopping a curb.
Palazza reportedly stopped his car at the intersection of Burnside and West Main Street and Chief Adams positioned his vehicle in front of the Suburban to keep Palazza from continuing on. Palazza reportedly drove forward anyway, crashing into Chief Adams’ car.

According to the Herald, it took Chief Adams and two additional officers to remove the intoxicated man from his car.
Palazza is being charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, careless driving, recklessly endangering another person and driving under the influence.
