Dominique Devlin Remembered in Sunday Fundraiser
Both and Philly.com are reporting on the crowds of friends, family and area residents who turned out to the community center on Sunday to mourn the loss of 16-year-old Dominique Devlin. Devlin was shot and killed early Wednesday morning, and police are still investigating her murder.
Dominique's father, Keith Devlin, told Phily.com, "We know who shot our daughter, but the process of the law just can't take him off the street."
According to the Herald, a service is being planned at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 2633 Hillcrest Ave. in East Norriton Monday, Aug.1, at 11 a.m.

Council Approves New Marquee for Montco Cultural Center
Also in the Herald, the Montgomery County Cultural Center got approval from Norristown Municipal Council to install a new 18-foot marquee sign on the center's .

Emcor Completes USM Buyout
The Hartford Business Journal recently reported on the completion of the $255 million buyout by the Norwalk, Conn.-based Emcor Group Inc. earlier in the month.
Emcor bought USM from Transfield Services Ltd. According the HBJ, USM has 150 customers in more than 75,000 locations across the US and Canada. Its annual revenues are approximately $375 million.

Pennsylvania American Water Gets Biblical on the Schuylkill
In case you missed it this weekend, the Herald was on hand to film Pennsylvania American Water Company's installation of a new water main under the Schuylkill to supply water to Bridgeport.
