Norristown Police Warn Car Thefts on the Rise
Most of the crimes are happening in the southwestern and southeastern sections of the town, police said.
The Norristown Police Department have announced through social media that there has been a recent increase in car thefts.
According to police, the majority of thefts have recently happened in the southeastern and southwestern sections of Norristown. According to data on Crimemapping.com, from March 23-30, seven cars were stolen in Norristown.
There were 32 crimes total committed that week according to the web site. There were 28 this past week, with four being car thefts.
