North Wales Brewery Promotes Laurel House With Special Beer

The new Laurel House Lager aims to raise awareness for domestic violence and support Montgomery County's shelter.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A North Wales microbrewery has collaborated with Laurel House, a Montgomery County domestic violence protection agency, and Breweries In PA to release a special beer.

Ten7 Brewing Company's new Laurel House Lager aims to raise awareness for individuals suffering violence and abuse at home.

A portion of proceeds made from the beer will also be donated to Laurel House. It is already available at Ten7 Brewing in North Wales, and will be distributed to parts of Montgomery and Bucks counties.

A special party and fundraiser will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Ten 7.

"We were already aware of the services Laurel House provides and we are grateful to have the opportunity to bring awareness to their mission and to help raise money for their programs," organizers shared. "Laurel House empowers those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven and supportive programs and resources."
