Popular Sports Bar Chain Opening New Location In King Of Prussia
A new tavern and pizzeria with seating for nearly 400 will be open by the end of the summer in King of Prussia.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Tommy's Tavern and Tap, a popular pizzeria and sports bar chain largely based around the Jersey Shore and New York City, is coming to King of Prussia.
The new location will replace J. Alexander's steakhouse, located by the mall on 256 Mall Boulevard, Upper Merion Township Supervisor Greg Weks said.
The restaurant is targeting a late summer opening, owners told the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The large facility will seat roughly 388 people across 9,000 square feet, including an outdoor patio, the report indicates.
Some 100 new jobs are expected to be created.

The eatery has expanded in recent years to 13 locations and now also includes establishments in Cherry Hill and Princeton, New Jersey.
