USPS Releases List of Branches Being Studied for Possible Closure
Norristown area offices are safe, but some of our neighbors are on the list.
As we reported earlier in our , the United States Postal Service (USPS) is studying over 3,600 post offices across the country to see if any can be closed. They're hoping to cut losses and streamline the postal system to be more efficient.
The full list of post offices being studied was released this morning, and there are over 200 offices being looked at in Pennsylvania. While the , Fairview Village and Bridgeport branches aren't on the list, branches in Wayne and Roxborough are. You can find the full list here.
