Viewfinder: ACPPA Community Art Center's Grand Re-Opening
The art center celebrated its newly renovated space—and its fifth anniversary—with a day full of arts, crafts, games and more.
More the five dozen families joined the on Saturday in celebrating the organization's newly renovated and expanded space and its fifth anniversary.
Over 20 volunteers from Vanguard were also on hand to help guide families through the new facility, offer up refreshments and help children and their parents with art and craft projects stationed in each of the center's studio.
Prizes were awarded to some lucky visitors Saturday, including a free eight-week session class to three winners of a random drawing: Yelitza Pinada, Kevin and Kristine Metz, and Ginger Robinson.

There's still time to register for classes in drawing and painting, ceramics, watercolor, printmaking, cartooning and anime, music and singing, drama, dance (ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop), as well as yoga and pilates.
Many of the classes are available for adults, as well as children, and some are even combined parent/child classes.
