Violent Day in Norristown – Two Stabbings, Shooting

Two stabbings and a shooting have been reported at multiple locations since early this morning.

The Norristown Police Department and emergency services have had their hands full Saturday as reports of violent incidents have continued to come in since early this morning.

The violence started with a report of a stabbing at Pine and Wood streets just after 5 a.m. this morning. Police have been unavailable to release any details of the incident, but the victim was reportedly stabbed twice and transported from the scene by helicopter to an unnamed hospital. The victim's condition is unknown at this time.

At 6:30 a.m. police and EMS responded to 1012 Green St. for a report of multiple subjects with guns. At least one suspect was shot, but it is unclear if police or other suspects shot the subject.

The victim has transported from the scene by helicopter to an unnamed hospital. The subject's condition is unknown at this time.

At 1:45 p.m., the Department of Public safety reported another man was stabbed at the at 701 DeKalb St.

According to the MontcoAlerts Twitter feed, the 18-year-old male went into cardiac arrest after being stabbed multiple times during a fight.

According to , the stabbing occurred in the driveway of the CVS. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance at 1:59 p.m.

Police are on the scene and continue the investigation.

It is unclear if any of these incidents are related.
