Water Main Break Closes Courthouse Early Today

A water main break on Airy Street at around 1:30 p.m. today resulted in a loss of water pressure to the . As a result, the courthouse closed at 2 p.m.

The courthouse lost water pressure to the sprinkler system, the bathroom facilities and the air-conditioning system. All other county offices are unaffected and will remain open for normal business.

Water pressure is expected to be restored, and the courthouse will resume normal operating hours Monday, July 25.
