Buck Road In Northampton To Close For Utility Work In Mid-September

Northampton, Bucks County Municipal Authority will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton, Bucks County Municipal Authority is scheduled to perform utility construction on Route 532 (Buck Road) in Northampton Township, beginning on Monday, Sept. 15.

From Monday, Sept. 15, through Wednesday, Nov. 26, Route 532 (Buck Road) will be closed 24/7 between Old Bristol Road and Chinquapin Road, including the Buck Road bridge. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Old Bristol Road, Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike), Route 132 (Street Road), Churchville Road, Bristol Road, Churchville Lane, and Holland Road.

The work will involve the relocation of utility lines in preparation for the reconstruction of the Buck Road Bridge in 2026.

Local access will be maintained. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
