Burglar Breaks Into Village Shires Eatery In Northampton

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Sunday night at El Barrio Cantina And Tequllia Bar at the Village Shires Shopping Center on Buck Road.

Police said the suspect is seen on video forcefully opening a patio door and entering the restaurant around 10:53 pm. when the restaurant was closed.

After spending several hours inside the restaurant, police said the suspect left carrying two six-packs and a 12-pack of Twisted Tea.

The suspect, a man wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants with an Air Jordan Logo and white shoes, fled on foot toward Beacon Hill Dr.

Police said video from other surveillance shows the suspect arriving at Village Shires parking lot around 10:35 p.m. from the Beacon Hill area.
