Charlotte Drive Closed in Northampton Township

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Northampton Township Police Department has reported another road closure for Tuesday.

Police said that Charlotte Drive between Stratford Drive and Green Drive is closed with PECO working on the scene. Police did not provide a reason for the closure.

The road is expected to reopen at 3 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Meanwhile, PennDOT crews and surveyors are in the area of Jacksonville Road and Almshouse Road performing work on Tuesday. Motorists should give themselves extra time if traveling through the area.

Churchville Lane between Holland Road and Hidden Cove Drive, which was closed for most of Monday due to a tree and several utility poles leaning into the roadway, was reopened after PECO made repairs.
