Churchville Nature Center Looking For Camp Counselors, Educators
The popular nature center is looking for candidates that will make the upcoming summer a fun and educational experience for campers.
CHURCHVILLE, PA — The Churchville Nature Center is currently lookin for eligible applicants to work as camp counselors and educators for their 2o22 Summer Camp program.
The nature center posted about the open positions on their website and their official social media accounts.
"This is a perfect opportunity for retired teachers, recent college graduates, or nature-loving individuals looking for a seasonal position," the center wrote on their Facebook about the open position for Camp Educator.

This position, open to anyone 21 years or older, looks for candidates who have a strong background in natural sciences, be able to teach age-appropriate lessons to children ages 4-13, and be available Monday to Friday from June 20 to Aug. 26 of this year.

Similar credits are required for those interesting in the position of Camp Counselor, which will run at the same times as the Camp Educator. Applicants must be at least 14 years of age to apply. An application for this position can be found here.
The nature center listed a series of health and safety procedures all applicants have to go through in order to be hired.
"In accordance with the mandate set forth by Bucks County, all Churchville Nature Center staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with proof of vaccination. Upon hire, staff must obtain Pennsylvania State Police Clearances and Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearances. If you have lived in Pennsylvania for the last 10 years, you must submit a notarized CR Affidavit Form. If you have not lived in Pennsylvania for the last 10 years, you must complete an FBI Fingerprint Clearance. Information on how to obtain these clearances will be provided upon hire."
