Daytime, Nighttime Road Work Scheduled In Northampton Township

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Beginning on Monday, June 21 motorists can expect daytime and overnight lane closures on Route 332 in the township.

From Monday, June 17, through Friday June 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., daytime lane closures are scheduled on Route 332 (Almshouse Road) between Route 232 (Second Street Pike) and Temperance Lane in Northampton Township for drainage work.

And from Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 28, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a nighttime lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road) between Route 232 (Second Street Pike) and Holland Road for milling and paving.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT's contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with newasphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
