Enjoy Free Rita's In Northampton Twp For First Week Of Spring

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has announced the expansion of their annual 'First Day of Spring' water ice giveaway for an entire week, starting Sunday, March 20, and ending Sunday, March 27.

Now referred to as the 'First Week of Spring' promotion, customers can enjoy a free cup of water ice any day next week after they download the Rita's app and create an account by Sunday.

On the app, users will be given a digital reward that can be used once for a free water ice.

Formerly known as Rita's Water Ice, the popular chain was founded in 1984 by Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo. It was named after his mother, Rita Tumolo. Currently based out of Bensalem, Rita's Italian Ice has become a popular stop for Bucks County residents and visitors alike and has expanded far past the area, with 540 locations serving customers around the country.
